Comments | CL Irish dating programme Bone, id as human, no. 5, from Poulawack, Co Clare, Ireland. Subm A L Brindley and J N Lanting, BAI Groningen, 1990-1. Comment (subm): Sample is from unburnt bones of a child and an adolescent, plus 1 tiny sherd, in rectangular cist on OGS within area of cairn defined by revetment. Cairn contained 7 cists with 13 inhumations and 2 cremations, and 1 inhumation without a cist. Dates produced in Groningen gave middle Neolithic for bones from primary cist, MBA for those from secondary cists. The OxA series is convincing. | |
